Braddock District Activities and Initiatives:
- Initiated Braddock Nights Summer Concert Series in Braddock District Parks, 1995-present;
- Initiated George Mason University-Braddock District Forum (to discuss university-community related issues) 2007;
- Mrs. Bulova regularly engages her Braddock constituents in Community Dialog Series and Task Forces. Some of these efforts include:
- Braddock 2000 - The Miniseries (Projecting and Planning for a Strong Community as It Enters a New Century);
- Dying in America - End of Life Issues;
- Community Challenges (Parking and Overcrowding);
- Community Dialog on Transportation and Land Use, 2003;

- Braddock Tomorrow (a community visioning series in 2006)
- Keeping our Neighborhoods Safe, Attractive and Vital, and The Kings Park (Revitalization) Initiative, (2007-present);
- A Look Back at Braddock history project to research, gather and tell the history of the Braddock District as it transitioned from a rural farm community into our present day neighborhoods, 2005 – present. This effort culminated in the publishing of the book Braddock’s True Gold. The focus on history continues with the development of a History Web site in partnership with George Mason University.
